MICRODERMABRASION:
Microdermabrasion is a mechanical exfoliation treatment designed to remove the upper layers of your skin to enhance skin texture and physical appearance, and also assist with improving general skin health and function. A microdermabrasion treatment consists of a vacuum pulling the skin onto an abrasive pad, which exfoliates the dry, dull skin, while stimulating natural skin processes. The depth of treatment is determined and easily controlled by the skincare professional. Since each treatment is customised, you can be treated at your own comfort levels. Results obtained from microdermabrasion may be maintained over a long period of time with implementation of an
appropriate maintenance program.
MICRONEEDLING AND SERUM INFUSION:
Microneedling is a treatment involving the movement of a roller containing small needles over the skin’s surface. The microneedles puncture the skin and create tiny pathways that are not visible to the naked eye. This allows for the infusion of a customisable serum into these pathways, which is selected based on your main concerns, and allows for maximum absorption that cannot be achieved by applying the serum to skin alone. Through the combination of the microneedling and serum infusion, a variety of benefits may be noted in your skin both on a superficial and deep level to improve its appearance and vitality.
LED:
LED is a form of evidence based light therapy that enhances and energises skin function and appearance. Various beneficial effects may be noted depending on the light used. When used in conjunction with microdermabrasion, skin needling and serum infusion, LED enhances the benefits created by the other modalities and adds to the results able to be achieved. Your skincare professional will select either a yellow or red light LED treatment based on your main concerns, and there are no side effects or discomfort associated with its application.
